I was looking for it because my riding pants melted on to the pipe, and now the pipe looks like crap... ... I'm to the point where i don't really give a chit...I plan on getting them ceramic coated someday when I get tired of looking at the melted shit on the pipes. DUNEDEMON Posted April 20, 2004 Report Posted April 20, 2004 Stay away from "scotch brite" I have found that it will scratch the chrome on pipes. Instead try using some #00 steel wool with some glass cleaner as lubrication, works great for me. Quote

Go to a Harley dealer and they will sell you some stuff that removes the heat "blueing" that you will get on T-5's and T-6's from using the Toomy jet kit. Quote
