They welded some sort of bracket to place the battery in and mounted it in the front piece of my frame. I put arrows (well, sort of ) in the picture, that point towards the places where the brackets are connected to the frame. Sorry, this is the best pic I have. Edited April 11, 2004 by Phase Quote
astromybud Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 I have a kit from ricky stator. mounts up front also. But had to make a small mode to mout a larger amphr battery. Just a small cut to allow for the extr length. Anyhow, you need more stator to run big lights. The battery only keeps the lights bright when your at an idle. You have to be able to put the juice back into the thing. If you just have the battery and not the high output stator your lights will still be dim. and then the battery will drain.
