banshe98 Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 The banshee is running awesome, but the spark plugs keep coming unthreaded from the head. Has anyone else had this problem and what can I do so they won't keep coming unthreaded? all of the threads are good and i tightened the plugs down, but they still come out after a while. Just wondering what is causing this and how to fix it? thanks for the help Quote

94BansheeRider Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Are the washers still on the plugs? They should be for proper seal and seat. Might try some new plugs. I have not had this problem on mine. Quote
BansheeBrian Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Yeah, Try not to overtighten your plugs.The washer can only take so much abuse.Once it's flattened it can't do its job.When you try to reuse the plug it will want to back out on ya.Finger tight, then just a little more with the wrench.
