But just so we will all know, take another size sprocket with you and try it out. I am thinking that 15/40 will pull higher numbers than the stock 14/41. SDD Posted March 30, 2004 Report Share Posted March 30, 2004 Dynos can compensate for gearing by using a correction factor. This factor comes from the final gear ratio and the sprocket ratio. Banchetta Posted March 30, 2004 Report Share Posted March 30, 2004 The dyno can compensate by the rotation vs your rpms.....so gearing doesn't affect it..when you first dyno, you run it at a steady rpm to adjust the dyno, at least a good dyno anyways....
