ledofthezep Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 dr. martins LMAO! That's what I generally where at the dunes for general riding, but if I'm going to be jumping or getting crazy I'll throw on my boots. Quote
coolhead03 Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 I use the oneil elements thay sucked at first but thay loosened up after little while. I just moved my shifter up a notch it works pretty good. but now that the boots are worn in i could move it back but i like it thier now Quote
boonman Posted April 13, 2004 Report Posted April 13, 2004 Alright folks. I have done some research on this. I absolutely SWEAR by this boot. perfect for an ATV rider. Tech 8's are about the best in the biz, but $$$$. THESE BOOTS right here are what I have and are fuckin awesome!!!!! NO break in time. Slapped 'em on, and that was it..... Also, the place to get them from is about the best I have found. (except those that "fall off" the back of the truck...) Quote
phonebem Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Sidi Flex Force, wore them on my bike right out of the box and loved them... no didn't see how I ever ride without them. The only complaint is that the pivots squeak when you walk around in them. When I'm riding with my friends, as soon as we get back to camp everyone else can't get out of their boots fast enough, I just leave mine on they are that comfortable. Also damn near the whole boot is replaceable; all the buckles, the whole sole, the shin guard, and the heat shield. They are also the only boots I know of you can customize the color of by mixing and matching the components. Quote
Labarraca_Baca Posted May 7, 2004 Report Posted May 7, 2004 ALpine stars are awsome but you need some bucks to get them i have a pair of boots that came with my oneal apocolypse set the are called arc coronas with an atv sole. not a bad boot but not as good as alot of the others out there Quote
tenn banshee Posted May 11, 2004 Report Posted May 11, 2004 I have the thor t30's. They take a while to break in. Get some leather conditioner and apply a good coat then wear them around the house. My wife looked at me funny for a while, but it really helped break them in. Boots are the way to go. It is like anything else, it takes a while to adjust to something new. Quote
SANDSTAR Posted May 19, 2004 Report Posted May 19, 2004 Just adjust your shifter up a notch and your shifting woes will be gone. Quote
