RZ has a tach. You'll need to run the RZ Stator because thats where the hookup is for it. You're better off running an aftermarket tach or shift light with the stock stuff. Just make sure the tach is good for a 2 cylinder (harley if nothing else) and it hooks to power, ground, and the trigger off the coil.

so your telling me that a stock rz 350 tach will hook rite up to a stock banshee (2004))

no you have to have the RZ cases to do that, or take the banshee cases to a machine shop and have them modified. then you would also need the drive gears that go inside the cases.

tryin to find an rz myself, but they are exactly right, the top of an rz case has these little gears for the tach, then there is a threaded hole for the tach cable on top of the cases......a complete rz set up is great all around: powervalves, better shift forks, easy tach hookup, and im betting an easy speedo hookup, not sure bout that....

There is no machine work involved to run an rz tach on a stock case you just need the gears, shaft and tach drive that goes on the top case.Look at your top case and you will see the black and little white plugs on the piece of the case that comes up in front of the rear motor mount. You have to take those out and that is were the tach drive goes.Behind the clutch side case, the top left hole is were the shaft goes threw.I will post pictures as soon as I get them,so you can see.
