I am having my knee operated on in the morning. I messed up my ACL ligament earlier this summer and am having it "fixed". You all will see alot more of me in the coming weeks-months because the Dr. said I could be out of work up to 4 months. I just hope i can get out to the barn in a few days and fool with the shee. I will go crazy if I am laid up for more than a day or so. I guess it will be a while until I can ride the shee. Dont worry... I drained all the gas, pulled the carbs and cages off so I can work on her some when I can get out there.Has anybody here or anybody you know had this procedure done? If so what should I expect? Its 2am here and I have to be there at 6:30. I guess I better get off here and "try" to get some sleep. I am nervous as hell..

I just had my ACL done about 7 months ago. It still feels really week, and I've been rehabing three times a week for months. The surgery hurts way more than the initial injury, but don't worry. For the next two weeks you'll be on Percocet and Oxycontin around the clock. You won't be feelin much pain as long as you don't try to walk around. Just make sure you have a nice comfortable couch or bed thats real close to your computer and tv and shitter cause you'll be on your back for a while.

Thanks for the warm wishes. I am back home now and doing well. The doctor said he had to wake me up because I was moving all around the bed. I was pissed because I was dreaming that I was riding the shee at Glamis! Talk about a killer buzz when I woke up  I hope to be back to work in full swing in a month but I highly doubt it. I will keep you all posted if you want. Thanks again..
