For what it's wort I have a durablue adjustable width X-33 axle with their hubs, bearing carrier, sprocket hub, and "new version" locknut. I ride the bike extremly hard - mostly in the dunes and desert with no trouble what so ever. Perhaps if I were riding on a MX track or doing 60 doubles I would have issues. Bottom line, I say stick with a name brand, and go with what you can afford.

I agree with everyone else about the width-as a matter of fact I think just widening the rear axle alone makes a much bigger improvement in handling than widening the front end. Get the wide axle, you won't regret it.

Lonestar is the only axle I've ever used and never had a problem, I would recommend them. I don't have any firsthand experience with Durablue so can't say they suck, but have heard enough horror stories to stick with LSR.
