sweetshee4312 Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 im woundering just so i get th record straight for myself, why did they stop making the 250r's, and if its cause they were so fast why didnt people copy them, i mean they never stopped making the banshee, 350 twin, and the yfz are fast just stock, so im kinda woundering Quote
erbilabuc Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 because the HOnda 3 wheelers were the main reason for the 3 wheeler ban. Honda didnt want to be in the limelight for the law suits anymore. The 250r's are copied, the z400/kfx400 are the same frame as the 250r's. The 250r's werent popular because of their power but because of their frame geometry and minimal power it took to win. Sure you can make a 500 horsepower Banshee and put it on the same MX track with a 38 horsepower 250r, wanna guess whos gonna win? Quote

Just think about it this way: Banshee's rule the dunes and drags. Quote
