adam46706 Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 i was told that you could turn your front tires around and make them more offset but there is no way you can the air valve stem hits the brake caliper was the guy that told me this full of shit or did i not understand what he was saying Quote
XTShee Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 Your right, you have to relocate the valve to the other side and plug the old hole for it to work. You can also buy offset front rims which do the job too Quote
Checkmate Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 I think they make some type of flush mount valve stem for the people that flip the fronts. Quote
SyNtAxx Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 Hey all, THey do indeed make a flush valve system. I jsut got a set off ebay for $25 shipped. Nick Quote
sickestshee Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 the 300 i have now has the rims fliped and i had to put washers behind them for it to work. Quote
jcharne Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 syntaxx and checkmate are right. i have the valvestems. i think they are a pain in the ass. when my tire goes low i have to unscrew the cap, put the needle in a tube that screws into the valve, then put air in, then unscrew the freakin thing, then put the cap on. 03limitededition Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 You should be able to drill a new hole on the other side of the rim, then put two valve stems in the rim, put the valve stem on the rotor and caliper side in backwards. Cheap, and you can always turn the rims back around if you want. Quote
Blue Duece Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 just buy some decent rims?..... Quote
