  1. Just wanted to post to thank and praise Boonman for the great job and quick turnaround on my Flywheel. The difference in throttle response is significant. Thanks!!
  2. They send the money to your e-mail address, when you set up your paypal account, you entered your e-mail address.
  3. Did anyone (besides me) want to reach though the f#$@ing television and choke the S%$T out of them?
  4. loganskinner, love the avitar
  5. What I think is interesting is how the general public puts motorcycle/Atv accidents under a microscope when stupidity runs rampant in all forms of recreation. What about the jackass who dives in a shallow pool or golfs in an electrical storm, or........ well, you get the idea.
  6. I just took my stator cover off to send my flywheel to Boonman. When I took it off, the flywheel, stator, pickup, and stator plate all looked like s**t!!!! Water has been getting in there somehow. I checked the gasket and it looked fine. This quad is nearly new, why/how is water getting in there? and how should I clean the components? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any thoughts or input.
  7. I have the gnarly pipes, pro circuit sparkarresstors, 3 degree key, Head shaved .020, proflow and K&N. I know I might get flamed for saying this, but with all the mods I listed above, I added a boost bottle, reed spacers, and TDR hypertension reeds. The combination of all these things together makes GREAT bottem end and midrange, very snappy throttle response and better than stock topend. I run the stock rear gearing and one tooth larger on the front. The taller gearing gives more range in each gear. In my opinion first and second gears are low enough. Also, I've read that a lightened flywheel helps alot. Hope this helps and good luck!!!
  8. I have stock carbs, I also have fmf pipes (gnarly), and I ordered mine from alba. They really cleaned up my midrange,( 1/4 to 3/4 throttle). Hope this helps!
  9. I think you could get about any silencer to work with a little fab work. almost all pipes and stingers route ABOUT the same way. many times the angle and stinger length are the only differences. I currently have fmf gnarly pipes with pro circuit spark aresstors. I had to heat and bend them slightly and add 2 inches to the length. they work great and don't touch anywhere. They actually fit better than the fmf silencers because I custom fit them. The other issue would be that the Paul Turner pipes are tuned to the fat boy silencers. So it may change the power delivery. Although, my setup runs virtually the same as it did with the fmf silencers, they just sound different. Hope this helps!
  10. An extemely lean condition can cause one or both cylinders to cut out, and seem like a fouled plug. also, check your float settings along with your jetting. I agree with the other replies, you should be at LEAST at a 280 main jet if you have stock carbs. Read the jetting faq, Take your time and try to enjoy the tuning process. I enjoy tweaking my shee almost as much as riding. Good luck! My 2 cents
  11. The gnarlies are great pipes IMO, They Increase bottom and mid power with AT LEAST stock like top end (I think maybe a little more on top, but I have other mods). I wouldn't worry about reed spacers, I would just upgrade the air filter setup, If you havent already, and run the gnarlies. I have the gnarlies, K&N, 3 degree advance key, 145psi head, TDR reeds, and I went up one tooth on the countershaft sprocket, Runs Fantastic. My .02
  12. Thanks for the offer, but I can't really use the geecko's and I kind of have my heart set on the T-9 Baja's. or beadlocks. The beadlocks would be worth more than the T-Maxx, so I'm looking for the baja's. I will drop the Buy it now price for any HQ member.
  13. Looking to sell this or maybe trade something, I would like a set of nice used T-9 Baja wheels. 10 inch front and 9 in rears. Maybe take partial trade on something else. Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...MESSE%3AIT&rd=1
  14. I have the gnarlys with pro circuit sparkarrestors. I like this setup alot, great low end and mid range with more on top than the 2into1. I had powercore2's before and lost no power when I installed the procircuits. although I had to weld 2 inches of pipe to the stingers to make them work. the procircuits have a nice bark (sound) to them.
  15. I was thinking maybe it was the castor or the synthetic/castor blend of the klotz, that maybe made the difference, I Don't know.
  16. This may sound stupid, but years ago I traded my 250r to my friend for a 94 banshee. He traded it off because he had the sticking problem and it drove him crazy. After we traded and i freshend the top end, I switched to klotz supertechnaplate premix and never had a problem with the carbs sticking. My theory is lubrication. Just my.02
  17. You should be able to drill a new hole on the other side of the rim, then put two valve stems in the rim, put the valve stem on the rotor and caliper side in backwards. Cheap, and you can always turn the rims back around if you want.
  18. Thanks alot for all the input. I have only run works, and that was years ago. when I saw I could get the ohlins for 100 bucks more than triple works with rezzis, I thought i would try them instead.
  19. I've been out of the atv scene for several years. I recently bought a new banshee and found a site selling the ohlins 36p front piggybacks for $599.00. I just wanted to here some feedback on them to see if they are worth the money.
  20. I have the gnarly pipes, I like them alot. I had the motofast years ago, so from memory, I think the motofast was a smoother and a more linear powerband, but the gnarly pipes definetly have more mid/top than the motofast with good bottom end. I remember the motofast being very good in the tight woods, but when I hit the open areas I was a little disappointed.
  21. When I first bought my shee three months ago, I went riding with several guys at a local riding area. we all raced across an open field with myself on the stock shee and two guys on raptors, one guy on a predator, and one guy on a yfz450. The 450 beat us all every time with the predator behind him, but ahead of us and myself and the raptors were all pretty much even. None of the races were complete blowouts. I think its hard to buy a bad machine with all thats out right now, and with whats to come. You have to choose what you like. But one thing is for sure, when I let even the most avid of 4stroke fans ride my shee that day, each one came back with a smile on his face. just my 2 cents
  22. I live in Macon, I've heard of some tracks here, but so far I've only been to a local ride area. I posted to see if i could find some people to ride with. The guy i was riding with broke his shoulder and sold his quad.
  23. I'm new to central georgia, just wanted to see if anyone lived close by who like Banshee's.
  24. TDR hypertension reeds at www.pro-flo.com for $28.00. I like them for the price, and noticed a nice subtle improvement, but I installed reed spacers at the same time, so hard to say which if not both contributed. I think the their reed spacers are $25.00 with gaskets and hardware.
  25. Great, let me know, I have PayPal, Thankx
