I removed the snorkel and rejetted to 220 mains. seemed to run good but cold weather starting takes forever. Pulled plugs and they were black and wet. put fresh plugs in and still takes 10 kicks and a lot of patience and a few more tries to get it to stay running. last summer the plugs were so clean it looked like they were from a new car. Also looking for a set of pipes. Maybe pt`s or dmc`s Preferrably spark arrestors. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This would help it start easier, but you said your plugs are wet, so I'm confused.lol What is your elevation where you are? and how cold is it? Kidd Posted January 10, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 10, 2004 Thanks. I live in Idaho, 2600 elevation, 30 degrees or so. I turnd the screws in 1/4 turn. Sounded better, but havent tried starting it cold. I got a pro flo and uni for it and wondered if it needs to be richened more.
