I used 500 degree paint once before and it bubbled up...weird because my pipes never got near the 500 degree mark. I would highly recommend finding a different method, maybe jet hot coating...Hope this helps! :)

my brother just has his toomeys powdercoated with heat temp paint. it leaves them glossy looking and they still look really good. before that he had like 1500 degree heat temp spray paint on them, it didnt work worth shit. i think if you are gonna be riding mud and shit that powdercoating is the way to go. cost him 70 bucks for sandblasting and coating.

I used 1200 deg exhaust paint and it SUCKED. Right at the motor mount flanges, it started flaking off after very mild riding. Went riding a lot more serious the next day and it isn't sticking worth a crap. I'm looking at ceramic coating them...just need to find a local place...

eastwood will have the spray cans you need, it might still flake @ the exhaust cause its kinda hot there, or ceramic coating depends on how much money you wana spend!
