Hey guys, I’ve been thinking about building a new motor. right now I currently have a 421 serval. Been enjoying it so far, but the power is starting to grow on me. Now I’m thinking of going bigger lol. I was able to get a good deal on a frame and a motor for 1500. I’m thinking of doing a 443 or a 465 serval. I’m mostly trail ride. Is it necessary to go for 465 or 443 Or is it too much for trail rider?

I am thinking of doing 443 trail ported serval ,36 smart carbs, pro mod, straight cut gears, Paul tuner mid or cpi, 20 cc domes on 110 race gas let me know if you guys think

No sense in doing the 7mm. Just do the 10mm since the cases need trenched.

Smart Carbs are junk. Stick with what's proven, Keihin PWK.

You'll need CPI, Snipers or Shearers.

Why am I the only idiot thinking a ported correctly 421 serval setup correctly, is plenty for trails? Who the fuck wants shears , 10mm ported serval for trails?  Send your 421 to get ported and setup by cam. Put some cpis on it, and save your $ for  hookers & blow

It is. I wouldn't even waste the money on a 10mm for trails. My 421 Serval is plenty.

Some things to factor in when going bigger.. The chances of breaking shit goes way up. Cranks, transmissions, chains, etc.. Literally everything can and will break easier.

I agree, but I’m building a whole different bike now. So I wanna do something different. Already have a 421. I’ve heard alot of people say it’s more than enough but trying to get creative with this build thinking trail/ all terrain set up
