Banshee leaking oil

Just picked this banshee up and it’s leaking oil out of them two bolt, seems it only leaks when hot, haven’t tried to tighten them yet just wanna ask if it’s happen to other people

Investigate it better. Did you smell it? It could be the premix leaking from your carburetors that is running down through the center drain hole that’s in the cases. If it’s trans oil then you will have to split the cases and reseal it.

Pull each nut. Clean them well. Put 1211 or Yamabond on them. Put nuts back on. Done.

After riding all weekend, I put my ninety eight Banshee in the lower back of my truck and took it home. When I arrived, I observed a small pool of Oil on the mattress of my pickup and started to look for the leak. There are 8, 12mm, bolts/nuts on the bottom of the Banshee transmission, positioned simply forward of the Tranmission Oil Drainplug. These eight bolts are coated up in two rows of four. One of the bolts closest to the Drainplug became wet and regarded to be leaking.
