Need a little info about aftermarket shifters. I have what I think is a Duncan racing shifter. It was given to me a while ago. It looks like it mounts to the swing arm bolt and has a couple of hiem joints used to hook it to the shifter. The nut used to attach the shifter to the swing arm bolt is sealed in the shifter end and is somewhat snug turning. It is worth the time to install?

thats some sorta linkage shifter, iv never seen one made for the Banshees. Raptors use a linkage shifter, but its not attached anywhere near the swingarm pivot bolt. You gotta post a picture of it, Id love to see it.

Oilsmoke, thats how the Raptors are setup too. Thats how the Rz's are also. My old 230 Quadsport had a linkage style shifter too. Pretty much sucked, I rigged my Quadsport shifter so it mounted directly to the shift shaft.

Here's a pic of the Rz shift linkage.......

A stiff aftermarket Aluminum shifter, I would quess to be the best way for a positive feel from the lever, & with less weight & moving parts to maintain.

Thx Meat Great pix

I have the Pro Design power shifter and I like it very much. I have rode a few shees with the stock shifter and I find it hard to get used to that tiney little nob thats hard to find. lol. A size 13 boot dosent help any either ;) Either way I still get lazy shifting..

Thats pretty wild, i never seen anything like it. Those linkage systems are nice cause you adjust it infinitly to fine tune it. I see on your that you can also shorten\extend the toe peice. Give it a try and a review.
