Up north rider Posted October 3, 2022 Report Posted October 3, 2022 (edited) Hello. New to the forum. I’m in the process of rebuilding my engine. Upon splitting my case I noticed some bad gouging on the stator side crank sealing surface. I looks like someone really went crazy with a screw driver trying to change the seal at one point. locogato11283 Posted October 4, 2022 Report Posted October 4, 2022 They're fine. Try to clean them up with some sand paper. You can use some 1211 or Yamabond when installing that seal to close up any gaps there may be. Quote
