spoin39 Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Hey papa smurf, don't let them talk you out of a R6, it's a good bike and one of the best handling bikes out there, just not alot of power. I know my ZX-9 isn't gonna beat a Busa but that is all I have been beat by, oh, and a guy on a R1 with alot of mods. I only have a Muzzy full system, power commander, jetted with a K&N. It's definately not the best handling bike on the track but in a straightline a ZX-9 is still plenty fast enough to keep up with most any other bike out there, I just get beat in the turns cause it's a pig compared to the newer bikes. Kinda like the Busa, great in a straight line but not the best for handling. Quote

mattmans1983 Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 Most people don't go 125mph all of the time so why don't you just drop a tooth in the front and you'll be able to pop it up so easy. Depends on what kinda riding your doing. I ride on the chat piles and a little through the woods and it works great and you can get a cheap one for only $8 just to see if you like it and just tension your chain to the max ya know just for a test.
