Lock up vs hd clutch with springs

Going to be ordering my direct drive clutch cover. Currently i am running fast's hd clutch kit, trying to decide if i should stick with that or get the lock out with the cover. What are the pros and cons to the lock outs? Thanks

How much power? Lock up with stock trans makes it hard to shift. I would avoid the lock up unless you're near the 100HP mark.

No lock up needed. Just use the heavy springs.

10-4.. the clutch cover i want with the reinforment ring, gasket kit and bearing pressed in by direct drive. Is the same price as the direct drive kit redline sells

With a lockup, you can use oem spring, but if you dont have a drag cut tranny, it will be hard To shift at WOT.

Since i'm a wimp, i use oem spring with a slingshot lockup (no new cover needed with that type of lockup).

If i want to shift fast, i have to release the throttle a little bit to shift and i dont use the clutch at all.
