If you saw a oring fly off the pipe, did you pull the pipe to see if the o ring was still on the flange. If not the pipe will be rattleing around on the cylinder. Im not sure how you went from oring coming off the pipe to thinking it was the coolhead o rings

The color and size was not the oring on the pipe. Opened the coolhead and the oring was pinched and missing a part on right side.

Got ya. Now makes more sense.  Id start by checking all exhaust bolts are tight, and flanges tight on the cylinders. Make sure the exhaust chambers arnt hitting the cool head, the motor vibrates a good bit so if there isnt enough room it will hit the chambers. If still there pull the head and make sure you didnt drop something in there(seems silly but shit happens) if still there pull clutch cover and make sure you installed every thing correctly. No primary gear play, clutch basket and hub timed correctly, clutch springs torqued properly ect ect.... Also did you get the right fuel for the dome change? Could be detonation aswell

Yeah, that’s was my next step before splitting case. If a gear would be grinding, i would see metal shaving in oil right? And clutch cover side is all correct, tried new basket, new kicker assembly, another waterpump etc. Think ill opened up the head and check, maybe try again the 19cc and a new stator/flywheel combo

I doubt its some thing in the tranny. More than likely its some thing dumb that your over looking.

Yeah.. didn’t touch anything in the clutch cover between the 2 start and the sound appeared.. Just touched the domes and flywheel came loose at the same time
