Can I run 91 octane with 21cc domes???

1998 banshee.32:1,hot rods crank, rods and tranny, Hinson clutch, weisco pistons, cool heads,21cc domes, dnt fattys,power core 2 silencers,v force 4 reeds. Stock bore.

I'm be riding from anywere to 600 to around 1000 ft above sea level. Compression is at 182

I run 91 ethanol free gas w/ 20cc domes at 1100 ft. And have for years.

But I don't have anywhere near 182 compression.

I'm juzt a dumbass oryguniun.  But why would you want 182# compression on this motor. I'd think swapping to lower compression domes be a decent idear

What size would be best. The engine only has 2 hours on full rebuild

It's not a race motor, I would think 150/160# would be plenty for you. If you want to run less expensive fuel, just get a new set of domes that will work for your setup.

It has a high compression cool head on it. Im ok with running race gas, I just want to know if I dont have another option, can i run 91? And the engine isnt completely broken in yet

So is  mine.

21cc is not a high compression head. You should double check that.

Something is off if it's a true 21cc dome with that high of compression.

I would do a uccr and a squish test too, 'cause something is off.
