Fr33zypop Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 As I was buttoning up the banshee after a hot weekend putting it back together I noticed the right wheel has a very small amount of play at the hub. I found some bearing kits and I'm not worried about getting them pressed but wanted a general opinion on upgrading hubs. I see I could get some RPM and lonestar hubs for a few hundo that would probably happen over winter but am I really going to notice a difference with just some the standard hub and bearing replacements? ZillaFreak Posted August 13, 2018 Report Posted August 13, 2018 Those hubs are just billet, nothing special for the front really. You will be fine with your stock ones. Quote
Ayesully810 Posted August 14, 2018 Report Posted August 14, 2018 you can bang them bearings in and out with a dead blow just so you know just in case you planned on spending money to have someone press them in. Quote

Sweet, thanks for the tip.I'll size it up once it get it apart haha. I think i've got access to a press if needed too. Quote
ZillaFreak Posted August 14, 2018 Report Posted August 14, 2018 Do this. Put bearings in freezer over night. Put hub in oven at like 200F for a hour (just make sure hub is clean of grease and shit) Bearings will drop in easily. 1 Quote
