Killawattz Posted November 8, 2017 Report Posted November 8, 2017 Hi everyone, I recently picked up an 05 banshee, it has a boost bottle (I think), larger sprocket, toomey pipes, fmf exhaust....some other stuff too I think, not sure. Thing is crazy fast, scared the absolute crap out of me the first few times I rode it. Well, my question involves the fuel shutoff. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to follow the arrow on the selector, or the notch. I don't know if I'm pointing at "ON" or "RESERVE". I've searched and searched, and apparently I am the sole dumb ass that has this question in all of history. Thanks, I'm located in southwest Tucson, look forward to having some fun around here. Quote
Toybreaker Posted November 8, 2017 Report Posted November 8, 2017 handle up is "reserve" handle down is "on" Quote
ZillaFreak Posted November 8, 2017 Report Posted November 8, 2017 This is what a stock petcock looks like. Lets use a little deductive reasoning. There are 3 "positions" on the petcock, on/off/reserve. On the backplate behind the knob, reserve is on top, off is on the left, and on is on the bottom. The knob can point to all 3 of these positions, it can't point to the 4th aka the right. So which part do you think you use? Quote
Killawattz Posted November 8, 2017 Author Report Posted November 8, 2017 Thanks, I know I'm retarded. Quote
