Hi guys I'm over there on the Trx450r forums , just picked up my first shee, i'm upgrading to 28 mm PWK carbs, it has CPI in frame exhaust, cool head , 4 mill, trail ported cylinder, vf4 reeds,

Not sure what the carbs come with as for needle and Jets ,Any clue where I should be for jetting ?

160ish main. Needle in the middle clip. 55-58 pilot.

I forgot to mention I am in Louisiana at sea level,what needle should I go with the one that comes OEM in the 28 mm PWK,

 

Also do you mean 45 to 48 pilot because 58 is huge

Im at sea level here in Texas with similar setup on one of my bikes. Start about a 52 pilot and go from there. When i changed to v4's i had to fatten it up a little. I cant remember right off on my main. 155 i think...

I'd start fat. But it's possible it'll jet out that low.

Got carbs in today , the two nipples next two the choke what do you guys do with them do you run a hose from one to the other as a way of equalizing vacuum pressure's? That's all I see
