Pro-mod transmission

Hey guys I am needing some information on what is involved when people send a transmission off to get a "pro-mod" I have a machine shop at my disposal so I am mainly just needing to know what to do. I currently have put a bearing on the detent arm, modded my shift star, and cut the end of the shift drum down and put a bearing on it. I know that a big part of the job is cutting every other dog off the gears with six dogs that only engage three. But is that all there is to it Or am I missing something?

Maybe zilla. Mine had some work, but it wasn't a bearing mod.

I think you can change some of the angles and do a little polishing on the drum ramps to make it a little better but I am not positive. Just read that somewere.

I really enjoy doing things myself, so part of it was I want to learn how to do it myself.
