bigweav81 Posted June 5, 2016 Report Posted June 5, 2016 Cast, forged, cheap, or name brand. Correctly installed is the biggest factor imo. If they were fitted for the cylinders, and everything was installed right. Run them. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk 1 Quote
arena314 Posted June 6, 2016 Author Report Posted June 6, 2016 ok well I'm assuming they were and the motor runs pretty well so I'm going to run them. I just heard so many horror stories about these namura pistons in banshees I started getting worried Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk Quote
Larry's Shee Posted June 6, 2016 Report Posted June 6, 2016 As long as it was bored/honed to fit the piston and don't wait until they blow to freshen it up. A drawback of cast piston is when worn out they can shatter from slopping around in a worn out hoe. Quote
arena314 Posted June 6, 2016 Author Report Posted June 6, 2016 this top end won't be in the bike very long bc I'm planning on doing a full on tear down when I can afford it so I don't think I'll ride it till it's completely worn down anyway Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk Quote
