Firing on one cylinder

Recommended Posts

Hey guys need help. My coils keep going bad every time i replace them. They'll be good for one drive then as soon as i shut it off with the kill switch (no ignition or key) it seems to fry it cause then everytime i start both cylinders will fire for 30 seconds or so then the stator side cylinder stops firing. Same thing everytime. Short somewhere, bad stator? Im not sure, electrical aint my forte.

No. Both plugs fire no matter what. The only thing that will stop it is caps and wires. A coil will not fire only one side at will.

You need to check fuel and compression on that side. And a leak.
