Hello I am the long john.

I'm rebuilding my banshee and I'm looking to get some more power out of it, my current mods are t6 pipes and k&n pods that's about it. I'm on the stock bore and I'm looking to just have it honed and keep the stock bore.

I was looking to get a trail/wood port and I read that 34mm pj carbs work best with port work (on duncan racing website) my question is what type of gains would I get from switching to the 34's.

I'm also going to be doing +5 timing mod and high flow impeller.

What kind of gains would I be looking at with these new mods (hp)? I'm mostly looking for low end-mid gains.

-Go to sponsor page

-Call all engine builders

-See who will do what you want with in your budget

-pull engine and ship to said builder

-upgrade suspension/chassis in engine downtime.

-Get 3rd job to pay for all of this.

I was only looking to do a trail/woods port and wasn't sure if 34mm carbs are to big or not for a stock motor?

Didn't you say fast?

Don't just piece shit together. Call someone that does it for a living. And not duncan.

I still say a sponsor here. You'll have better luck.

It's an attractive title, I'm not sure what you mean by piecing it together I am going to be calling FAST tomorrow though to see what they say.

well you want a trail port. You want 34s.

Call a sponsor (fast like you said) they'll recommend what works best with there port work. Probably won't be 34 pj carbs. Also don't be surprised if they tell you to ditch the t6.

Didn't say I wanted 34's that's just what duncan recommends with the their trail port I wasn't sure they sound a little to big.

Yeah the T6 came with the quad when I got it, I was already looking for some T5 recommend any other decent pipes for a mild port?

Talk to whoever ports your cylinders. Usually they'll have an idea of what pipes work best with there port work.

Might I add that you should have your cyls measured to see if you need to bore them. Just honing and new pistons could cause a loose fitment and problems down the road..

How come you guys don't like duncan racing? What does FAST have that they don't? Just curious I'll probably be going with fast anyways.

duncan is stuck in the 90s with banshees. They stashed with 4 strokes and seem to be out of the loop with what guys are doing to these engines now.
