Shamrock Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 I just bought a brand new ignition coil for my banshee and the spark plug wire somehow touched my pipe and burned through. I was wondering if I could just replace the spark plug wire or if I had to replace the whole ignition cool. Thanks Quote
trickedcarbine Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 Many have tried and failed. It is possible though. You'll need to ge the retention clip off with out breaking it. If you can make that happen you may have a shot. Quote
87sheerips Posted March 3, 2016 Report Posted March 3, 2016 I have done it, broke retention clip, used RTV and have been fine. For the price, buy a used one from eBay. I have never had a bad coil in 15 years of fiddling with these machines. Quote
