put it this way... I loctite every single bolt that goes into my bike for the most part.... red or blue.... red is mostly for areas that get heat...

these things do vribrate a fair share... if it doesn't have a locknut.. its getting some loctite

Every bolt uh? They say red is for a permanent application only. I imagine at some point I will want to disassemble...

ive never had issues removing bolts that had red loctite.. they are a bitch to remove... but nothing permanent.

So your saying every bolt that is not involved with heat, blue loctite. With heat, red?

You can apply heat to the bolts/nuts that have locktite. Comes apart much easier. Permitting you can heat the area with out burning/melting surrounding.

what I personally do... not everyone would do that... im prone to the stupidest shit happening to me.. so i take extra measures... but yea more so..

I should get a set of loctite then. I'll do that tomorrow.

I was going to assemble the entire bike to the correct tq ratings, ride it a handful of times, then run through it again with the tq wrench that way everything is seated in. Maybe I'll loctite everything the second time around, idk yet.

It makes zero sense to put loctite on after you already install everything once.
