J-Madd Posted November 3, 2015 Report Share Posted November 3, 2015 That's odd. There should normally be a corresponding dent in the piston and usually embedded material in the piston. quickbansheeman Posted November 4, 2015 Author Report Share Posted November 4, 2015 Im going to further investigate tonight to see what was it, I'm going to drain the oil and check the crank to make sure it didn't fall in there, I'm not missing anything, I checked, even my piston rings are in tack. Ok good to know, i went through it thoroughly and couldn't find any piece of metal, piston rings are in tack, I really appreciate the help guys. sleeper06 Posted November 4, 2015 Report Share Posted November 4, 2015 That cylinder also looks glazed over , if you know where you started at for compression when build was new you can compare numbers . I usually re ring/hone if it drops 5-7 psi or differs side to side. Coolant is harsh on parts make sure your skirts arnt collapsed Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sometimes a piece will exit the cylinder through exhaust port. Sonething caused that dent in dome, I would be concerned until I found out what. I have the vforce 3 reeds, just took the cylinder to get honed.
