camatv Posted October 23, 2015 Report Share Posted October 23, 2015 just buy the hinson inners for the 8 plate setup. untill chariot makes some for maybe a 10 plate ( HINT HINT!!) easiset way to get an 8 in there i have personally blown steel backing plates off older hinsons many times i dont know why ANYONE would try to use alluminum.. what a joke. this basket i'm sure will hold up to all kinds of abuse ! camatv Posted December 27, 2015 Report Share Posted December 27, 2015 the basket i got is very light weight. seems built very well has the big bolts nice thick steel backing plate and is hard anodized. i'm planning on installing it into a long term motor and will put it through some abuse. but overall i'd suggest and plan to suggest these as #1 pick for the time being until something if anything shows up negative about them. another great product from Chariot !!
