What chains are the xc and dine guys running?

I deal with mud and sand and snow and dirt.

I had a Regina chain that has lasted a while and worked well. But I don't want to pay 150 again for a chain.

I've always had good luck with the d.i.d. x ring chains, some may say otherwise but mine never really stretched too bad. When I put my heap back together I will probably run another one, just my .02

D.i.d. or EK x-ring chains with JT hardened steel front and rear sprockets

EK is my favorite chain to run

EK X-Ring from FAST.

$89

8700# tensile strength.

I have a stock length x-ring that I used one weekend on my stock length swingarm before going to +2"

$40 shipped if you want it.

You'll need a new master link though.

Get it from Jeff.

all chain manu's have differnt styles of chain  there are budget 520's and high end high bucko 520's  the only way to know is the read your tensile strength numbers  you need at LEAST a 7900 lbs chain on a stocker if you want it to live.  i usually run the rk mxz3 and 4 and those have worked great i think they are a 8900- 9300? chain  BUT they are not o-ring chain.  i race dunes.  just put a zzz on my hybrid and its doing good  its a high strength chain also.   if you keep tossing chains you need to check your alignment and looseness and if all the guides are in place..

I'm not tossing chains.

It's just 2 seasons of mud sand and snow have taken there toll on my current chain. It's kinked and tight in spots. I've bought 125 dollar rk chains that were wasted in 3 rides. A Renthal that was like 95 bucks junk in 1 ride.

I'm gonna give these ek chains a try
