bluebanshee7 Posted July 23, 2015 Report Posted July 23, 2015 (edited) Clutch not engaging*** Rebuilt my shee and finally got it running right. Been trying to get though the break in process and something new keeps popping up. Was riding my shee in 1st and 2nd gear and was shifting fine...waited 2 hours now my clutch lever is completely flopping around. It still pulls the cable but with no tension at all. Everything on the outside looks right...could it be the clucth adjusting screw inside the clutch case came loose from riding it?? Any ideas would be great Thanks Edited July 23, 2015 by bluebanshee7 Quote
trickedcarbine Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Check the adjuster on the pressure plate, also look at the pressure plate and verify that it is clocked properly. Quote

trickedcarbine Posted July 24, 2015 Report Posted July 24, 2015 Some say a dab of blue LOCTITE helps. I've never had a problem with out it. It can be a pain in the ass if you don't have a wrench that gets on and around the nut. Size the phillips screw driver really well because you don't want that stripping. The pressure plate is east. There is a dot on the hub and one on the plate. Line them up. Quote
