jscharphorn Posted June 26, 2015 Author Report Posted June 26, 2015 Well now I have another issue, the 39pwk carbs and UPP intakes I purchased my angle seems high and I have to set the floats at about 19.8mm for them to not leak gas out the over flow Quote
jscharphorn Posted June 29, 2015 Author Report Posted June 29, 2015 were did you get the intake ? Quote
RadarRacing Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 Just set the float level lower until it stops overflowing. On gas unless you are going to run 1/8th mile it should still be good with a dual pingle and good fuel line. I have had no problem with upps and floats set lower. Quote
jscharphorn Posted June 30, 2015 Author Report Posted June 30, 2015 Thanks guys. I ordered billet bowls to make sure I have enough fuel. Quote
dozer Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 when your adjusting the float, did you check the float height where it just touched the needle or when it was actually pressing it closed? Quote
camatv Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 are those upp intakes? i just read all the stuff on the dome dome is fucked. just stop and get the right dome now. if you havent already./ 1 Quote
jscharphorn Posted July 1, 2015 Author Report Posted July 1, 2015 With the different carbs I now have the hole shot. Yes floats set just touching, in the pic that is were it needs to be so it does not over flow. Quote
theputz Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 I had the same problem with my pwks and upp intakes. To much of an angle. I lowered the float height 2mm and bent the overflow tube upright. Saw this on a ktm site I believe. Quote
