poor starting when cold ( why )

You don't necessarily need a new choke but when you cold start it your gonna have to make sure to pull it out all the way and hold it for a lil bit to warm up. I'd just hold it out by hand

Thanks guys for the help, I will post back on how the bike starts again with holding the choke out.

 

Does anyone have a extra set of 30 pilots for sale ? I hate ordering from jets r us

mine had that issue. pilot jet was issue, had to go up to 30 from 27.5 now it starts in 3 kicks or less cold

 What is your basic set up? Already have 27.5p, just wondering if should go 30? Same basic issue, hard start when has sat several days, ok if only few hrs.

I ended up grabbing a couple pilot jets off ebay, I did not want to wait.

 

I started it this morning one kick with choke held all the way out, I do not think it sat long enough.

I will try again in 4-5 days
