Dion27 Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Haven't had much luck with this 2004 banshee since I had bought it. Latest problem, ran fine last ride. Surfrjag Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 If its been sitting sometimes the clutch plates will stick together. Take it out so when u put it in gear your ready to go. It should go away.. Quote

Just like above surfrjag said get it ready and drop it in gear and go. Or you can hold the clutch in and foot on the rear brake. Then give her some gas and drop it into gear she will free right up. Larry's Shee Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 While it's warming up just start working clutch lever in/out. By time it's warm it may be better, but actually riding will work it the best. Unless basket is grooved badly. Quote

oh3shee Posted May 8, 2015 Report Posted May 8, 2015 This happened to me once. I held in the clutch lever and pushed the bike a few feet. At first it didn't want to move at all and then finally it broke free. As for the repair book, I bought a Clymers off ebay for $20. I was going to download it but I like having the book so I can take it with me. Quote
