    This happened to me once. I held in the clutch lever and pushed the bike a few feet. At first it didn't want to move at all and then finally it broke free. As for the repair book, I bought a Clymers off ebay for $20. I was going to download it but I like having the book so I can take it with me.

    What kind of coolant are you using? Is there a hole in a line for it to leak out as you were riding?

    The only place I have to ride are trails, mostly tight ones at that. I added +2 A-arms and it made a big difference in cornering. Im not on the brakes as much cause I know I can take a turn faster now.

    That looks like a nice bike. I have family right outside Kitty Hawk. Makes me want to go see them and come home with new toy. Shee is pretty.

    I would throw on some pipes and get them powder coated black. I would put on some new rims and tires but try to match the stock style and thats all I'd do. I never like how the stock tires look. I like a wider tire with a bigger foot print. I just think it looks better.

    True. The way I ride, Its either all the time or the bike sits for awhile. Id hate to have that oil just sitting around. Winter is coming and next year is a new start.

    I used to run Klotz at 32:1 but now I run AMSOil dominator. I like Klotz but the closest place that sells it to me is almost an hours drive. Ive had nice results with AMSOil.

    I was having the same problem last week. I had to put a wrench on mine to twist it out. I bought a rebuild kit off ebay for about $5. I needed a punch screw driver to get the screw out cause I stripped it trying by hand. After I rebuilt, better than brand new. No rattle. Twists right out and after I kick it, it folds right in on its own. Its well worth the $5 and 10 minutes it took to rebuild it.

    What do you guys recomend to plug the boots?

    Burke... what do you mean by plug the intake boots and are you saying that the boost bottle isnt worth it? Their is a moose boost bottle on mine but it was there when I bought her.

    I dont see how you can go too big. It comes down to how much space you have to open the throttle. I know if your trails are tight you can be to wide with A-arms and a rear axle. My buddy widend his and was tough to sneak around some trees in tight trails. But as for power, never enough.

    Ive been all over the place. Everywhere has a shithole within it. At least we have good food. trailer up to the country a bit and the trails are great for all day riding.

    I did that 2 seconds ago. I first found them in a google search and rockymountain atv poped up first. They have 3 to choose from. I aslo ebay'd that part number and found a bunch on their. Im going to go with the LB05E.

    I read those threads before. I was looking for millimeter size instead of part number.

    I see different style boots by different manufacturers on eBay. Any recommendations?

    The plugs always seemed burned on the top where the cables connect. I think I need a new coil. When Im riding and holding the throttle steady one side sounds consistent while the other side seems to sound like its support at a high speed. They just dont sound equal. From all Ive read it sounds like it could be an electrical issue with the coil sending a bad signal. Any thougts?

    That makes sense. tricedcarbine, you mentioned that I shut it down. I didnt hit the kill switch to shut her down. I just hit the clutch and brakes and tried to stop as fast as I could. The quad just died. And yes, it starts fine now and when I held the throttle open it fired right up with pretty much a half kick.

    Yesterday I was out riding hummin down some trails when Bambi and all his cousins decided to run out into the trail. I was in 4th gear about to hit 5th when I grabbed the clutch and stood on all the brakes. The quad died right out as I was sliding to a stop. After that it would not start. I was kicking forever. For some reason I said F it and held the throttle wide open as I kicked it. Fired right up strong and I was on my way again. Im wonder what caused this. Was the float stuck open or something? Im just starting to learn about tearing into this thing and figuring out how it all works exactly. Thanks for any help or advice.

    Yes Im sure its a banshee. No, no battery. I went out riding and parked it in my backyard. An hour later I pushed it back in and turned the key off to take the key out and something clicked a few times. Sounded like it came from behind the radiator. It did it a few more time when I tried to duplicate it. Then it hadnt done it in a few days. Yesterday it did it once out of ten attempts to duplicate. Im having an issue with it bogging out one carb (left carb while sitting on it) and Im wondering if I may have a spark problem. Im thinking of replacing the coil. Like Ive said, Ive owned this for a long time and this is the first summer Im really starting to tear into it.
