trickedcarbine Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 Athena caters to the "Dirt Wheels" crowd. For them, it was about creating a highER performance, OEMish qualiity replacement. Just look at the differences in the average " building a cub/serval " vs "athena set up help" threads. Totally different customer. Quote
Deadbeat Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 Athenas were actually designed for the RZ350 crowd Quote
trickedcarbine Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 Yet when you get on the rz forums, they all talk like they are light years ahead of the banshee stuff..... Quote
registered user Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 you can tell calvin put a ton more thought into his stuff if them athenas were 64mm i would probly snatch up a cheap used set and fool around with em. even though it appears they have most of the same flaws as stockers. only good thing i see is they already have tripple ports so thats one less thing thats gonna take a hundred hours to cut in by hand Quote
Deadbeat Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 Yet when you get on the rz forums, they all talk like they are light years ahead of the banshee stuff..... yeah RZ guys are pretty tight knit, ive read threads of guys fitting athena kits and throwing thier bikes down the road lol "i wasnt ready for the power increase" funny stuff Quote
