ryan954 Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 Hey guys Im currently in the middle of a rebuild. Im doing a 421 cheetah cub from jeff over at fast. I wanna upgrade my suspension but dont know where to start. I want to upgrade front and rear shocks, swing arm, axle, a arms and steering stem I mostly street ride, drag race and alot of open field riding. Ive been doing alot of research and im pretty much down to stage 3 elkas and marvin shaw. So what do you guys think? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted February 9, 2015 Report Posted February 9, 2015 Stage 3's. If you dare try and ride across a choppy part of a field with the Marvin Shaws, you're getting bucked off. The rear can probably get away with a nice rebuild and re valve. Quote
ryan954 Posted February 9, 2015 Author Report Posted February 9, 2015 Ok. So what about a arms? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 You looking for a stretched drag bike of something that can carve a turn? Quote

Zillaguy Posted February 10, 2015 Report Posted February 10, 2015 The best bang for your buck is going to be Alba.. Quote
ryan954 Posted February 11, 2015 Author Report Posted February 11, 2015 Ok elka stage 3 for shocks Alba for a arms and what about axle and swing arm? Quote
ryan954 Posted February 11, 2015 Author Report Posted February 11, 2015 Think im going to go with jds for swing arm. Do you guys think a +2 will be enough to keep the cub from standing up out of the hole? Quote
Burke Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 that all depends on your traction Quote
ryan954 Posted February 11, 2015 Author Report Posted February 11, 2015 American racers on the road Quote
special06shee Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 No, with any traction you will need a minimum 4over arm. Probably 6-8 if you drag more then anything Quote
