I just had some rebuilt and shaved at mss. I guess i had a ding in a shaft also. Cost 250 or so and the machine work is not the quality i was expecting. your almost better off to sell and buy new.

Right side upper is worse than lower 20150213_165115.jpg sorry first pics were so dark. They charged like 120 to turn both shocks down. Is this what is to be expected at that price?

I would have been fine with it if they were all the same. It would of only taken an extra minute to cut that last little bit. I shouldn't have to rework something that i paid someone else to do.

Dont get me wrong, for service times and rebuild pricing they are right on. Tim is a good guy to talk to on the phone. I have a set getting rebuilt right now as a matter of fact. All i wanted to point out was the quality of work on removing ribs was sub par in my experience. I would look elsewhere for that.

It should be noted that i have never contacted him about it. I feel that he is aware of the product he shipped out. I'm just stating what happened in my situation. It could very well be a one time issue on 2 shocks.

One has a step at the bottom. The other has steps on both ends. The top is more apparent than the bottom. I think i can smooth it out when i re polish them. its just work i did not plan on having to do after paying for it
