You shouldn't have to ask to many questions. They'll ask you all the need to know stuff.

Any reputable builder should get 99% of the stuff right the first time. But as with anything there is always unforeseen circumstances. Are they just porting your cylinders or assembling the complete engine?

Anytime I have sent my motor out or had any work done to any bike I alway get that call saying hey I notice blah is worn and should be replaced or while I am here do you want blah blah done. And can trust that there not screwing me that it does need it or could use it and should be done.

Look whos name is in most of the signatures on this site! Send it to a builder everyone trusts and you can rest assured if they call you and say you need this or need that then it really does need done!!!

Will you be able to understand the answers to the questions you think you need to ask... port timings, squish, dome designs, etc...

Just call a good builder or 2 and talk to them about it

Things you need to know when you call around to builders:

- Know your desired ride style and power delivery

- What Parts you have that will work with new build, and what you'll need

- What fuel type

- Budget
