421alkybanshee Posted January 25, 2015 Report Share Posted January 25, 2015 I have a transmission that I can continue to keep shifting down, when it is already in 1st gear. What I mean by that is when the bike is in 1st gear I can down shift, or at least it seems like it would be down shifting. Very strange, because my other bike do not do or feel like this, usually when your in 1st, and press down on lever , yes the lever moves but if feels like it's hit a stopper or somthing, this pick seriously feels like you can downshift into unlimited gears, if that makes sense. trickedcarbine Posted January 25, 2015 Report Share Posted January 25, 2015 Need to pull the cover and watch what the detent arm, star, and shaft are all doing. locogato11283 Posted January 26, 2015 Report Share Posted January 26, 2015 I agree with Tricked. I'd check all the shift linkage before putting new forks in it.
