MacRacer1 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Report Posted January 5, 2015 Good to know. It does spin, but if I want to do a wheelie it'll do it, but that's not what I want, so obviously not the right setup. I could still win races against bigger bikes without an override, but not that I'm building more of a drag bike im looking to go bigger on the tires and swingarm. Quote
MacRacer1 Posted January 5, 2015 Author Report Posted January 5, 2015 It's not a lockout clutch, but it will be. That'll help. Quote
m671054 Posted January 5, 2015 Report Posted January 5, 2015 Big tires and arms dont win races. there is way more to it. Quote
MacRacer1 Posted January 6, 2015 Author Report Posted January 6, 2015 Yea I realize that, but it's a start, and I'm just trying to see what other people are running on their 4 mil cubs Quote

JTmachining Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Use a +12 or +14 swing arm. 74+ RO is a good baseline. Paddle as needed. I use stag and ext. 1 Quote

RadarRacing Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 I like a ÷10 or 12 and 12 to 14 paddle extremes in a 73 to 74 rollout. If you are going to run inframes stay with the plus 10 and just add a paddle or 3. You dont need a big high dolla tire to be fast. The reciprocating weight of the tire changes drastically by the larger circumference. Quote
