m671054 Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 Ive done some reading about floated ground dc conversions and have ? a standard ho stator has 2 ouputs plus the ground and a floated ground stator with the oe stator ground wire left intact to ground the engine look very similar. Its my understanding the ho stator will show continuity to grd and the floated one will not have continuity to ground but will between the output legs. If that is correct when you float a ho stator do you add 2 wires and run 2 regulator/rectifiers? Anybody seen a ho single output floated ground version like this Quote
m671054 Posted December 6, 2014 Author Report Posted December 6, 2014 It had this regulator with it and seems to be a floated ground version. Im interested in converting a dual output stator is why i asked about that type. Quote
m671054 Posted December 9, 2014 Author Report Posted December 9, 2014 Yep. Finally got time to start on this turbo setup. Just sorting out all the pieces. Should have the motor assembled saturday and maybe start fitting shit together sunday. Probably gonna do a nose tank and put the nitrous and electrical up top. Its really been a back burner project for to long Quote
trickedcarbine Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 That should be fun. You'll be bald and really really angry ALOT! But at least even if it grenades it'll be a killer ride. Quote
m671054 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Report Posted December 10, 2014 Nah, this bike is meant to be a tinker bike. It gets boring when the other bikes are all dialed in and youve got nothing to work on. Quote
