A 4 mil serval, sounds ok.

If I want cam to port for a bottom end or top end gain, he can do that without sacrificing the other?

If that's true, what type of port job is most beneficial on a serval?

Why are you asking any of the guys here? Think they'll know more than the builder you've chosen? Makes no sense.

They probably wont know more then my builder, and I never said they did. I'm assuming that some guys might have experience with the same setup I'm seeking and they can share their experiences from it, what they liked, what they didn't like, and so on. Don't get frustrated if you don't have the answers.

Your builder has the answers, not some anonymous person on the internet.

I will ask him on stuff I want to know about. I dont want to take up all of his time throwing ?s at him.

..so It'll take LESS of his time for him to explain why the info you got from someone online, who probably doesn't even own or ridden a Serval, is incorrect? Awesome.

He's a busy guy im sure.

Here's how you do it when dealing with a competent builder.

1. Call.

2. Identify yourself, all pertinent info on the build, your goals, intended use of bike.

3. LISTEN to what builder recommends.

4. Talk about your budget, and time frame.

5. DO NOT cloud the conversation with hearsay,Internet theories ,etc.

6. Did I miss something?

I taught your builder how to port. You want a 4mm Serval.

I'll be running this engines whole life on 110. Never anything less. Probably gonna throw a bottle on it over this winter too during the frame up rebuild. Upgrading to sharears or CPI with vf4 too.

NOS bottle?

I've got a sweet 4 mill crank I could sell you. I'm pretty close to your super builder I can even take it down there for you and have him look at it.
