But it being hard to start is half the fun. When my buddys wanna ride it my motto is "if you cant start it you cant ride it" keeps all the women from riding a bike thats too big for them in the first place. LOL

Hell yeah they suck to kick. Ive waisted about three pairs of shoes startin mine. Every time i ride it i have a bruise on my foot for a week.

Every time…..bruised foot for a week…….and trash 3 pairs of shoes.

But it being hard to start is half the fun.

Maybe next year you could just remove the kick starter entirely and push start the bike for even more "Fun"

Its not that bad to start you just gotta know what your doin and i do. Doubt ill ever brake a ankle startin it riding it on the other hand is a different story.

Know what you're doing (like using shoes that leave your foot bruised every time)…………Broken ankle < Bruised foot…………maybe use flip flops to start the bike and get that ever so enjoyable foot bruise going, THEN put boots on for the "Riding" portion of the fun.

Trashed 3 pairs of shoes over the course of 4 years dont happen every time i ride it. I usually trash my worn out work shoes after ridin it and startin it all day. Im gonna get some boots someday. But on the other hand flip flops are cheap at walmart i might just go that route. Unless you wanna come help me push start it and we can both have fun.

Sounds exciting!

Around these parts we keep track of our fun with an Hour Meter rather than judging the levels of destruction to our footwear.  ;)

But I can understand using your work shoes for riding………at some point the french fry oil just gets so soaked into them, I'm sure there isn't much else you can do with them.

Once they get that far gone, you can't wear them home or they'll just leave tracks from one end of the trailer to the other.

Frech fry oil no shit you work at mcdonalds maybe when im in your neck of the woods ill hit the drvethru you can hook it up with a free big mac an soda. My work shoes get soaked in machine oil due to the fact im a machinist have been for 12 years. So yeah i use them for ridin sometimes. I dont know about any trailers around here there called manufactured homes LOL. But dont worry i dont wear my work shoes in the house. I keep them outside in case im in a hurry to go ride on my 20 acres.

^^^^ entire reply was basically an "I know you are but what am I" type statement.

I didn't think you would catch all those subtle details, but you understood completely. LOL

Hey, you're a machinist......I think there was a guy on here looking to let his machinist buddy do his porting. Maybe he should give you a call.

Good idea about leaving your work shoes outside.
