Deadbeat Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 After dealing with what I seen this past week and my previous dealing. I'd skip his name on the sponsor list. I have a stock cylinder motor I'm putting together, empire and precision have my attention on this one. I've dealt with cam a few times and wouldn't hesitate to use him at all. whats happened to special06 is he still involved with banshees? Quote
sheerider11 Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 whats happened to special06 is he still involved with banshees? Not sure. Only in contact with a few PA guys. And he's not one of them. I'm sure if I make it out there I can find out Quote
bluebanshee98 Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Bucky? He's into the drag scene now and got out of the coal hill climbing. I talked to him not too long ago. He's around Quote
Coupelx Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Noss makes most ppls domes anyways And in most cases its to the builders specs. Quote
dirtydownunder Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 I was happy with kevins port work, customer service and 2 week turn around. Quote
Dixie normus Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 He did a 4 mil for a bud I assemed and tuned. Ran decent. Port work looked professional ( I know I know, looks mean very little). Quote
camatv Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 you cannot call NOSS and say you want a set of redline spec domes. noss has some suggested domes and says ( at least to me) that he has cust a ton if differnt shapes and profiles for differnt builders over the years. i even have a dome i prefer.. but i settled on this shape after running many shelf style domes, custom cuts from other people and some really off the wall shit too Quote
possum Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 ^^ in other words, builders can have what they "think " works and have noss cut it to there spec. thats the custom dome that dont run to save its life. Now you have shelf domes. I prefer driveline domes. And your getting a reliable design with moderate squish, band, etc... that you know will run well. And not someones bright idea they had one day! registered user Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 if you dont have a machine to cut your own domes, you may as well just be another average joe with some porting tools. how the hell do these shops now days test anything if they cant cut their own parts. Quote

bigD Posted July 25, 2014 Report Posted July 25, 2014 My experience with Kev was awful. He can port stock cylinders on the Banshee well. The problem is when he makes a mistake he tries to hide it. If you figure out how bad he stuck it too you, he will not take responsibility. Seems like forum members aren't quite licking his balls like they did when I posted "shops that don't stand behind their work" read his warranty disclaimer. Quote
Toomey Man Posted July 25, 2014 Author Report Posted July 25, 2014 ok thanks. I'm probary getting my one friend to port the cylinders (he owns a machine shop and does pretty good work) Quote
