Michaels 04 Banshee Posted July 21, 2014 Author Report Posted July 21, 2014 Ok I found that my crank seal was basically pushed out of its seat causing oil to leak through to the cylinder. So all new gaskets and oil seals were installed. I got it all put back together and it works! Lol The smoke is minimal now and will prob stop once the leftover oil is burned out of the pipe. Thanks for the help. Quote

Skitso559 Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 I'm surprised nobody's told you 100 psi is kind of low should do top end rebuild before it does more damage Quote
Michaels 04 Banshee Posted July 28, 2014 Author Report Posted July 28, 2014 Can i just replace the rings or should i relace the pistons too? The pistons looked really good when i had them out for the seal replacement. Quote
Surfrjag Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 the only way to know is if you measure the piston to cylinder clearance Quote
