Surfrjag Posted April 27, 2014 Author Report Posted April 27, 2014 Whats junk about it? What do you like about it? Quote
Whitbread Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 I had a boss clutch basket that lost 2 fingers and had 4 more halfway cracked off after ~3 months of use. Motor was only making 45hp so no excuse there. Called boss as it was supposed to be "unbreakable", was basically told sorry about your luck and have a nice day. So, my taste with them is rather sour to say the least. I have a JJ&a carrier in my roundhouse converted stocker. Quote

4mil89 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 I would not buy another boss carrier no way is it billit. i put the smallest amount of arm strength into adjusting my chain with the correct tool and the holes wollow out like its paper. stuff feels super soft i dont even know if i will get to use all of the bearings life before i will have to order another. rather fustrating if you ask me... ill be trying a jj&a next time... toytech Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 curious how she goes... i know it was almost 100 bucks cheaper then JJA which is a fair difference. jja has them in the garage sale all the time for$110 dont get any cheaper then that. I know they say they are used with new brgs and seals, but couldnt even tell my blue one was ever installed before. Quote
southside Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 I have ran boss 40mm carriers on two bikes now with great luck, can't beat them for how cheap they are. Quote
